Day whatever.
I’ve given up blogging about this. Frankly I don’t care. But I’m still a vegetarian. For 1 more week.

It’s only been 11 days?
But I would still eat that meat dress off Lady Gaga, jus sayin.

It doesn’t really matter what day it is. I FEEL AWESOME. This is fantastic; I feel amazing. I’m a little tired, however, I’m pretty sure that’s because I only got 5 hours of sleep last night. I had tofu day 5 I think; best sponge I’ve ever had.. kind of forced myself to eat it all because I could use the protein. Also had a vege-hot-dog today… I wonder what kind of vegetables it was made out of and how much dye was used to make it pinkish. hmm….
Was yesterday. But once again I’m still a vegetarian. and Once again it’s still really easy.
However, I was looking at this website of PETA’s and learned some things that were more than a little disturbing…
By no means am I an animal rights activist but REALLY? Why can’t we use other methods, such as controlled-atmosphere killing? Especially in a society where there is constant technology advancements - why are we using such (really) primitive methods to get our food?
At school they make specialty omelets! It takes a little while, but it was well worth the wait [onions, mushrooms, & cheese] DELICIOSO!
Would have grabbed some lunch… but after studying until the wee-hours of the morning for a few consecutive nights, I was too lazy to drag myself out of my room so didn’t have to worry about temptation on that front. But too be honest, I’m not really that tempted…it’s actually pretty easy not to eat meat.
Like at dinner I tried the veg-riby-cue… the sauce threw me off though, but I’m venturing into trying the meat alternatives here.
Good thing being a vegetarian doesn’t include giving up guys. I’m out.
Today went pretty well.
I had a big salad for lunch, but somehow a bacon bit snuck in. However I found it just in time and did not consume. That’s will power.
And for dinner I had no meat, however once again (sort of) tempted by the bacon… there was a breakfast bar. The world is testing me on my very first day, and I would say I’ve held my own pretty well. What else can it throw at me?
While at Lollapalooza this summer (Wooh! Gaga!) I decided it would be a great idea to try being vegetarian for one month sometime this year. That was about a month ago. I’m starting this personal mini-challenge tomorrow. Actually… to me this will be a big challenge, because I’m although I’m an omnivore, I freaking love meat.
Bacon at breakfast anytime = <3
Hopefully in doing this I’ll learn something about myself - that I can stick to something - and also be a little more conscious of what I’m actually eating. Let’s see how it goes and maybe I’ll keep it up past a month.
